Recap: McQueen Lancers vs. Reno Huskies
After losing to The Reno Huskies the last time they met, the McQueen Lancers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. McQueen strolled past Reno with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 21-6.
McQueen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carl "Tre" LaGrone III, who rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 44 yards and a touchdown. Nason Rodriguez and his 101 yards on the ground were also a key factor in McQueen's win.
McQueen's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Reno, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
McQueen is on the road again on November 3rd and play against Bishop Manogue at 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Bishop Manogue is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games. Reno does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
