Basketball Recap: Holt Gets the Win

On Thursday, the Holt Indians earned a 48-37 win over the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles.

Holt's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holt won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Timberland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop DuBourg at 7:00 p.m. on January 17, 2025.
