Soccer Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia entered their match against Almeta Crawford on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Columbia Roughnecks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Almeta Crawford Chargers. The Roughnecks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Will Pappas, who's now up to four this season.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Almeta Crawford, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will host Stafford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Almeta Crawford, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Sweeny at 1:15 p.m.
