            Basketball Recap: Grove City Christian Eagles vs. Mechanicsburg Indians        
        
		
        
        
            On Saturday, the Grove City Christian Eagles were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  62-56 to the Mechanicsburg Indians. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 When it comes to explaining why Grove City Christian lost, don't look at  Jadunn Harris. Despite the final result, he  went 6-for-14  en route to 17  points and five  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Landon Brunicardi, who  posted 11 points.
 Mechanicsburg's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Joshua Titus, who  went 8-for-13  on his way to 20  points. Mechanicsburg is undefeated when  Titus posts 20 or  more points, but 6-13 otherwise.  Luke Bowman was another key player,  going 5-for-8  to rack up 11  points along with eight  boards and four  blocks.
Grove City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Mechanicsburg, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record  this season.
 Coming up, Grove City Christian will face off against KIPP Columbus at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. KIPP Columbus will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Grove City Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mechanicsburg, they will square off against Grandview Heights at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
