Basketball Game Preview: Ryan Cowboys vs. Central Bronchos

The Ryan Cowboys will challenge the Central Bronchos at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Ryan is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Frederick just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by the Bombers 74-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cowboys have suffered since February 15, 2024.

Meanwhile, Central waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They breezed by the Blue Devils to the tune of 73-27. The Bronchos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Central pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Ryan, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Ryan was dealt a bruising 70-41 loss at the hands of Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Ryan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
