Baseball Recap: Mulberry's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mulberry walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Pine Ridge on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4. The victory was familiar territory for Mulberry, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Coby Anker looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on AJ Medina, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Josh Lacy also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Mulberry's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Pine Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11-2.

As of now, neither Mulberry nor Pine Ridge have any future games scheduled.
