Basketball Game Preview: Ravenna Ravens vs. Norton Panthers

Ravenna is 0-10 against Norton since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Ravenna Ravens will face off against the Norton Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Ravenna is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They were outmatched by Field and fell 73-37. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 574th, while the Falcons are ranked 231st).

Meanwhile, Norton blew past Coventry, posting a 48-15 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Norton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for Ravenna, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Ravenna took a serious blow against Norton in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 61-16. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Ravenna was down 32-9.
