Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yucca Valley). They were the clear victor by an 18-8 margin over the Banning Broncos on Monday. Considering the Trojans' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Bella Lopez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
