Panther Creek is 9-1 against Apex since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Panther Creek Catamounts will host the Apex Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Panther Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season.

Panther Creek is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Green Level just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators. While losing is never fun, the Catamounts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Gators are ranked 12th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Andre Richardson, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Korey Smith, who earned 11 points.

Meanwhile, Apex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 72-71 heartbreaker at the hands of Cary. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (55), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Apex's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Panther Creek, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Everything came up roses for Panther Creek against Apex when the teams last played back in February, as the squad secured an 84-45 victory. Does Panther Creek have another victory up their sleeve, or will Apex turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
