Basketball Recap: Porter Piles Up the Points Against Dayton

Porter won the last time they faced Dayton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Porter Spartans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Dayton Broncos 47-20. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Porter has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-15 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Dayton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-19 record this season.

Coincidentally, Porter and Dayton will both be playing Splendora the next time they take the court. Dayton will host Splendora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Porter will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
