The Loveland Classical Lions will head out to challenge the Denver Eagles Christian HomeSchool Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Loveland Classical is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.

Loveland Classical can't be too worried about heading out to take on Denver Eagles Christian HomeSchool: they just beat STEM School Highlands Ranch at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Loveland Classical really took it to STEM School Highlands Ranch for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-27 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Denver Eagles Christian HomeSchool fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Knights 58-54.

Loveland Classical pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.2 points per game. As for Denver Eagles Christian HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Things could have been worse for Loveland Classical, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 76-58 loss to Denver Eagles Christian HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in February of 2023.
