Croswell-Lexington extended the longest winning streak in Blue Water Area this week by beating Algonac, 52-15. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Pioneers.

Yale moved up to 263 from 305 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 31-8 win over the Bulldogs helped the Bulldogs improve their standing.

Armada's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Trevor Holston threw for 10 yards and Zachary Sand had 10 yards receiving. On the ground Nicolas Burton chipped in 193 yards.

The Muskrats' Mike Baranowski and Tyler Banks have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Baranowski has thrown for 135 yards this season, while Banks has five catches for 185 yards. Burton from the Tigers leads the league in rushing with 614 yards.

A big matchup in Blue Water Area this week will be when Capac takes on Richmond. At the moment, the Chiefs are in third, while the Blue Devils are in second.

Almont was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fourth in the league. The Raiders vanquished Yale 31-8 earlier in the week.
