Volleyball Recap: South Tahoe Takes a Loss

South Tahoe was the 3-1 winner over Livermore when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

South Tahoe took Livermore into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 22-25, 21-25, 15-10.

South Tahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Livermore, their victory ended a ten-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-20.

South Tahoe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Dayton on the 27th. As for Livermore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Sonoma Academy on the 29th.
