Baseball Recap: Southern Fulton Victorious

Southern Fulton proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 15) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Mount Union Trojans.

Southern Fulton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paul Hendershot, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Southern Fulton's record now sits at 17-1. As for Mount Union, they moved to 16-5 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Coming up, Southern Fulton will venture away from home to face off against Southern Huntingdon County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Mount Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
