Football Game Preview: Boyd County vs. Greenup County

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Greenup County. They will challenge Boyd County on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Greenup County don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Greenup County have to be hurting after a devastating 21-46 defeat at the hands of Ashland Blazer last Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Greenup County.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Boyd County, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. It was close but no cigar for Boyd County as they fell 12-14 to East Carter.

Greenup County took the matchup and then some with a 61-6 victory over Boyd County the last time the two teams met.
