Soccer Game Preview: Wooster vs. Ontario

The Wooster Generals will head out to square off against the Ontario Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Wooster sitting on three straight wins and Ontario on eight.

While Wooster's victory against Mapleton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Generals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Mounties on Monday. Three seems to be a good number for Wooster as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Ontario kept a clean sheet against River Valley on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Vikings. Addi Pittman was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Wooster's win bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Ontario, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1.
