Basketball Game Preview: Evansville Christian Eagles vs. Forest Park Rangers

The Evansville Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Forest Park Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evansville Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Evansville Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 39-33 to Mt. Carmel.

Forest Park has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Princeton on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Tigers are ranked 24th).

Evansville Christian's record now sits at 5-16. As for Forest Park, their record is now 14-6.

Evansville Christian strolled past Forest Park when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 68-52. Will Evansville Christian repeat their success, or does Forest Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
