Softball Recap: North Union Comes Up Short

North Union lost against Indian Lake on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sierra Farrington was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Rylee Fox was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

North Union's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Indian Lake, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, North Union will challenge Urbana at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Hillclimbers at the right time seeing as the Hillclimbers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Indian Lake, they will take on London at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers will need to watch out since the Red Raiders have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
