Basketball Game Preview: Immanuel Christian Warriors vs. Gadsden Panthers

The Immanuel Christian Warriors will challenge the Gadsden Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Immanuel Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.

Meanwhile, Gadsden also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Silver by a score of 42-33. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Fighting Colts recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Like Gadsden, they lost despite seeing results from several players. Troy Vargas led the charge by putting up seven points and eight rebounds. Izaiah Sena was another key player, posting six points.

Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Gadsden, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Immanuel Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Gadsden struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
