Salem Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 80-65 to the Valley Forge Baptist Academy Patriots. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Ian Wall was his usual excellent self, putting up 42 points for Valley Forge Baptist Academy. Wall's morning made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Abram Moore, who posted 18 points.

Salem Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Valley Forge Baptist Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Salem Christian is taking a road trip to face off against Lehigh Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Salem Christian is facing Lehigh Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Lehigh Christian Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Valley Forge Baptist Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-43 victory against Quakertown Christian on the 21st.
