Softball Game Preview: Justin-Siena Braves vs. American Canyon Wolves

Justin-Siena is 0-10 against American Canyon since April of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Braves will challenge the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. Justin-Siena has given up an average of 14.7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Justin-Siena is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to Casa Grande. The shutout was out of character for the Braves seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Justin-Siena saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Georgia Andres, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Petaluma hit American Canyon with a four-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves came up short against the Trojans, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Wolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Justin-Siena's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for American Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Justin-Siena might still be hurting after the 18-3 loss they got from American Canyon when the teams last played back in April. Can the Braves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
