Basketball Recap: Wickenburg Takes a Loss

Wickenburg lost against Kingman Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wickenburg Wranglers fell 56-46 to the Kingman Academy Tigers. The Wranglers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wickenburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Kingman Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-6.

Wickenburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Chino Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingman Academy, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Kingman Academy Tigers challenge the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingman Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully St. John Paul II Catholic likes a good challenge.
