Softball Recap: North Union Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for North Union's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Shawnee Braves on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for North Union and nudges their season record down to 10-10. As for Shawnee, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

While North Union had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
