Softball Recap: Cole Valley Christian Chargers vs. Bear Lake Bears

In what's become a running theme this season, Cole Valley Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory in their first game on Saturday. They never let the Bear Lake Bears onto the board and left with a 16-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cole Valley Christian.

Karlie Barnum was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Barnum has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Barnum was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, a stolen base, and a double.
