Volleyball Recap: Brownstown Central Braves vs. Bloomington North Cougars
Brownstown Central had won 11 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 2-0 to make it 12. They put the hurt on the Bloomington North Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brownstown Central had a senior duo take command as Finley Wheeler had eight digs and two aces and Sophie Wischmeier had 16 kills, eight digs, and one block. Wheeler has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 38 times she's played. Brailey Teipen was another key player, getting 11 kills and one block.
