Volleyball Recap: Prairie Central Comes Up Short

Prairie Central lost against Pontiac back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks fell 2-0 to the Indians.

Prairie Central was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18.

Prairie Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Pontiac, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Prairie Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lexington on the 2nd. As for Pontiac, they will challenge Streator at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
