Softball Recap: Calvary Baptist Comes Up Short

The Calvary Baptist Cougars came up short against the Fontana Steelers on Monday, falling 16-4. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Baptist saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bri Rosales, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Rosales also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another was Isabella Macias, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Calvary Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Fontana, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Coincidentally, Calvary Baptist and Fontana will both be playing Bethel Christian the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Kings at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Steelers will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
