Baseball Recap: Alamosa Comes Up Short

Alamosa lost against Brush back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Alamosa lost 12-2 to Brush. The contest marked the Mean Moose's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

AJ Baker was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Alamosa now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Brush, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Alamosa and Brush will both be playing Eaton the next time they take the field. Brush will head out to face Eaton at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Alamosa will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
