Preview: West Broward Bobcats vs. Everglades Gators
West Broward is 1-9 against Everglades since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The West Broward Bobcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Everglades Gators at 6:00 p.m. West Broward is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
West Broward scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-28 victory over Miramar. That looming 47-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for West Broward yet this season.
Meanwhile, Everglades' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 76-14 loss at the hands of Flanagan. Everglades was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-6.
West Broward's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4. As for Everglades, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.
West Broward won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in February of 2021, slipping by Everglades 1-0. Does West Broward have another victory up their sleeve, or will Everglades turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
