Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kendyll Upshaw and Jade Walker Lead Bellflower to Victory + How To Watch

Bellflower strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Artesia Pioneers by a score of 19-6. That's more bragging rights for the Buccaneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

A big part of Bellflower's win came down to the chemistry between Kendyll Upshaw and her top target Jade Walker. Upshaw threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns while Walker rushed for 106 yards and one score. What's more, Walker racked up 23 receiving yards, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Bellflower was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 205 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Bellflower didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kayla Williams and Jazelle Miller.

Bellflower's record is now 3-0. As for Artesia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
