Baseball Recap: Lake Comes Up Short

Lake lost against GlenOak on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Streaks fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 6-4. The Blue Streaks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for GlenOak, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Lake has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Waynedale on the 16th. As for GlenOak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Austintown-Fitch on the 16th.
