Softball Recap: Forsyth Panthers vs. Ava Bears
After flying high against Spokane on Wednesday, Forsyth came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Ava Bears by a score of 8-7 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.
Libby Hunter was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, five RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Holmberg, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
