Recap: Oasis Christian Lions vs. Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers
The Oasis Christian Lions can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy and snuck past 41-38. The win was just what Oasis Christian needed coming off of a 68-41 defeat in their prior match.
Daniel Evangelisto was the offensive standout of the match as he scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Ridgeview Global Studies Academy still got an impressive performance from Mehiel Charles, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Charles has scored all season. Jordan Williamson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Oasis Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Oasis Christian will square off against Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ridgeview Global Studies Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Four Corners at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
