Football Recap: Bartlett Skates Past Bruceville-Eddy with Ease + How To Watch

Bartlett barely beat Bruceville-Eddy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Eagles, posting a 40-12 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

Robert Gail III and Michaul Salinas certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Gail III threw for 142 yards and two TDs, while Salinas rushed for 69 yards. Salinas showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 53 yards.

The victory got Bartlett back to even at 1-1. As for Bruceville-Eddy, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bartlett wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 54-7 loss against Thorndale on the 12th. As for Bruceville-Eddy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 53-13 defeat against Santo on the 12th.
