Cypress Ranch is a perfect 9-0 against Cypress Creek since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cypress Ranch Mustangs will be taking part in a tournament against the Cypress Creek Cougars at 9:30 a.m. Cypress Ranch will be strutting in after a victory while Cypress Creek will be coming in after a loss.

Cypress Ranch saw some tournament action on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past Randle 7-6.

Cypress Ranch's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Walker, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Ashlynn Massey was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Cypress Creek fell victim to St. Joseph and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Flyers by a score of 2-0.

Cypress Ranch took their victory against Cypress Creek in their previous matchup back in March of 2021 by a conclusive 9-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cypress Ranch since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
