Basketball Recap: Providence Prep Triumphs

Providence Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Round Rock Christian Academy on Saturday. The Rams came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 71-61. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Despite the defeat, Round Rock Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ryan Lieder almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Jayden Amuta, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Providence Prep now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Providence Prep will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Founders Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-46 loss against Austin Waldorf on the 15th.
