Volleyball Recap: St. Cloud Takes a Loss

St. Cloud lost against Windermere back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Cloud took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 28-30, 25-15, 25-27, 25-22, 15-12.

Enrique Soto paced St. Cloud's offense, picking up 31 kills. Soto got some help from Eddier Rodriguez and his 33 assists. Rodriguez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

St. Cloud's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Windermere, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

St. Cloud didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Liberty on the 16th. As for Windermere, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Olympia on the 16th.
