Basketball Game Preview: Pahrump Valley Trojans vs. Sports Leadership & Management Bulls

Pahrump Valley is 6-1 against Sports Leadership & Management since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pahrump Valley Trojans will host the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls at 6:30 p.m.

Pahrump Valley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 59 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against The Meadows School on Monday. They took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Trinity French, who posted two points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those five boards gave her a new career-high.

Even though they lost, Pahrump Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Sports Leadership & Management waltzed into their match on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They took their game with ease, bagging a 62-22 victory over the Falcons. The Bulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Sports Leadership & Management has also been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Pahrump Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.
