Baseball Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the Tyler Legacy Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 on Tuesday.

Sunset saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Echavarria, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 19-9-1. As for Tyler Legacy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Sunset nor Tyler Legacy have any future games scheduled.
