Berwick and E.D. White are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Berwick Panthers take on E.D. White Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Thursday, Berwick made easy work of Patterson and carried off a 12-2 win. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly ten runs.

Madison Diboll was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Diboll was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makinzie Macaluso, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in triples. The team also got some help courtesy of Kumari Nadar, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, E.D. White got themselves on the board against South Lafourche on Thursday, but South Lafourche never followed suit. They blew past the Tarpons 16-0. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Cardinals this season.

Like Berwick, E.D. White also got a great game from a two-way player: Emma Mahler. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Mahler was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
