Islands waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Windsor Forest Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Islands took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15.

Mia Whitmore paced Islands' offense, picking up seven kills. Whitmore got some help from Katie Swezey and her 16 assists. Olivia Kiley controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Islands' win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Windsor Forest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Islands will challenge Toombs County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windsor Forest, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tattnall County at 5:00 p.m.
