Volleyball Game Preview: Summit K2 Dragons vs. Albany Cougars

The Summit K2 Dragons are taking a road trip to challenge the Albany Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Summit K2 has now lost seven straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 28th.

Last Thursday, Summit K2 came up short against Summit Tamalpais and fell 3-1. While the Dragons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Timberwolves 25-16 in the first set.

Summit K2 started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-21, 25-12, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Albany beat Hercules 3-1 on Friday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Albany had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-21, 28-26, 25-23.

Albany now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Summit K2, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
