Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Classical Academy). They blew past the Pacific Ridge Firebirds, posting an 82-0 victory. The Caimans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Classical Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB nine times. The heavy lifting was done by Abigail Phinney and Makayla Espe, who racked up four sacks between them.

The win was the ninth in a row for Classical Academy, bringing their record up to 18-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.6 points on average over those games. As for Pacific Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pacific Ridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 28-0 defeat against Escondido on the 22nd.
