Basketball Game Preview: Foard Tigers vs. North Lincoln Knights

The Foard Tigers will challenge the North Lincoln Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Foard ended up a good deal behind East Lincoln and lost 57-40. The Tigers have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, North Lincoln came tearing into Tuesday's game with 18 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 57-47. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Indians are ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Lincoln's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Foard, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
