With a playoff win on the line, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North rose to the challenge on Saturday. They never let the International High School at Largo Sea Turtles get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for International High School at Largo, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Coming up, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will square off against Friendly on Tuesday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.14 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. International High School at Largo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
