On Thursday Brian Wright tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (one) Wright has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one earned run. This year, he has an ERA of 1.97 over 10.7 innings pitched.
