Niles and Edwardsburg are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. The Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Eddies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Niles is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Niles really took it to Plainwell for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-14 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Meanwhile, Edwardsburg might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Vicksburg who claimed the real prize. The Eddies fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 38-35. The Eddies' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Niles' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Edwardsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Niles took their victory against Edwardsburg in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 21-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
