Broomfield gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They strolled past the Frederick Golden Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 31-13. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won ten matches in a row dating back to last season.

Broomfield found their leader in freshman Kashus Clarvoe, who rushed for 116 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries.

Broomfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 199 rushing yards in four consecutive games dating back to last season.

Defeat or not, Frederick got some senior leadership from Preston Kissinger and Sonny Delpizzo. Kissinger rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown, while Delpizzo gained 116 total yards. Delpizzo didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended one pass.

Coming up, Broomfield will challenge Monarch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Frederick, they will take on Mead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
