Soccer Game Preview: Jersey Shore vs. Muncy

The Jersey Shore Bulldogs will face off against the Muncy Indians at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Jersey Shore's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Jersey Shore fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Bloomsburg on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Jersey Shore's goal came courtesy of Gabe Welshans, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Muncy kept a clean sheet against Montgomery on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Red Raiders. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Muncy were the better team in the second half.

Muncy's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Jersey Shore, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-3.
