Basketball Recap: Conestoga Christian Comes Up Short

Conestoga Christian came up into this matchup off a tough 38-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Brandywine Heights Area Bullets by a score of 47-44 on Monday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Conestoga Christian lost, don't look at Owen Shrom. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 14 en route to 23 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Shrom a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Boutaugh, who posted eight points and five boards.

Conestoga Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Brandywine Heights Area, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.
